Laparoscopy
Laparoscopy is a minimally invasive surgical technique used to diagnose and treat infertility caused by conditions such as endometriosis, ovarian cysts, or pelvic adhesions. During this procedure, a small incision is made in the abdomen, and a thin, lighted tube (laparoscope) is inserted to visualize and treat the reproductive organs.

Laparoscopy can be used to:

• Remove endometriotic lesions
• Remove ovarian cysts
• Treat adhesions
• Evaluate the fallopian tubes for blockages

Hysteroscopy
Hysteroscopy is a procedure that allows the surgeon to look inside the uterus and treat any abnormalities that may affect fertility. A thin telescope-like instrument (hysteroscope) is inserted through the cervix into the uterus, allowing for the diagnosis and treatment of problems such as uterine fibroids, polyps, septum, or scar tissue.

Hysteroscopy can be used to:

• Remove fibroids or polyps inside the uterus
• Correct uterine septum (a congenital defect that divides the uterus)
• Treat Asherman’s syndrome (uterine adhesions)

Tubal Surgery
Tubal surgery is performed to repair or unblock fallopian tubes that have been damaged or blocked due to infection, previous surgeries, or conditions like hydrosalpinx (fluid-filled tubes). The aim of tubal surgery is to restore normal tubal function and increase the chances of natural conception.

Types of tubal surgery include:

• Tubal Recanalization: Opening blocked tubes using specialized instruments
• Salpingectomy: Removing a damaged section of the tube that may be affecting fertility
• Tubal Reanastomosis: Reconnecting tubes that have been previously tied or blocked

Myomectomy
A myomectomy is a surgical procedure to remove uterine fibroids (non-cancerous growths in the uterus) that may cause infertility, heavy bleeding, or recurrent pregnancy loss. Myomectomy can be performed laparoscopically, hysteroscopically, or via an open incision, depending on the size and location of the fibroids.

Ovarian Drilling
Ovarian drilling is a laparoscopic procedure used to treat polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in women who do not respond to ovulation-inducing medications. Small holes are drilled into the surface of the ovaries to stimulate ovulation.
